Syllabus

This is an overall introduction to our course, covering specific characteristics of the flower, leaf, and the preparation.

In the first part of our course, we will discuss our subject in general: the characteristics of the flower and leaf, the general shape and color of this plant, and the necessary preparations before painting.

A good outline takes quite some training in the Gongbi painting, and in this course we are going to define a type of outline more clearly.

Laying the ink layer is a critical process in the Gongbi painting.

A coloring method of white flowers will be discussed in this part.

We will finalize our calla lily to make it even nicer!
