# Become an Algebra Master

) and an additional 21 workbooks with extra practice problems, to help you test your understanding along the way. Become an Algebra Master is organized into the following sections:

Operations and rules of equations

Simple equations and advanced equations

Like terms

Functions and manipulating functions

Inequalities and graphing inequalities

Graphing points, lines, parabolas, and circles

Systems of two equations and systems of three equations

Polynomials and factoring

Exponents and radicals

Ratio and proportion, complex fractions, and rational expressions

Imaginary numbers

Exponential and logarithmic functions

AND HERE' We start from the beginning... I explain the problem setup and why I set it up that way, the steps I take and why I take them, how to work through the yucky, fuzzy middle parts, and how to simplify the answer when you get it.

Notes: The notes section of each lesson is where you find the most important things to remember. It’s like Cliff Notes for books, but for math. Everything you need to know to pass your class and nothing you don’t.

Quizzes: When you think you’ve got a good grasp on a topic within a course, you can test your knowledge by taking one of the quizzes. If you pass, great. If not, you can review the videos and notes again or ask for help in the Q&A section.

Workbooks: Want even more practice? When you've finished the section, you can review everything you've learned by working through the bonus workbook. The workbooks include tons of extra practice problems, so they're a great way to solidify what you just learned in that section.

HERE' You are a fantastic tutor. A" - Omid N.

“At the peak of my mathematical skill level I reached only into the very early stages of learning Trigonometry. Fast forward to now (my early 30's) and by experience alone, realize the infinite possibilities of being a master in mathematics. I chose Ms. King's Algebra course as a review to move past my previous level and must say that I not only ENJOY the course she offers but am getting more from it learning wise than I could have imagined. I wish to complete all of her classes and am extremely confident that her teaching style can get me there. Other than mere reference of other resources, I plan to stay on track with all of Ms. King's courses exclusively. Thank you for a great learning experience. ” - Dean F.

“Great. I love how she teaches. ” - Fred B.

“The instructor is very clear, both in ideas and in speech. She moves quickly enough to keep your attention, but not so that you get lost.” - Janet M.

“I have been enrolled in several Udemy courses but this course is the best. It's my first time posting a review because I am really happy with how Krista King teaches mathematics. One of the best courses on Udemy.” - Salahuddin S.

**high school**

Having checked out after algebra two in high school and not touching math since then, I was concerned this was going to a be a really heavy lift.

I have learnt a lot of things my high school teacher struggled to explain them to me.

It's helping me refresh on what I took in high school to get ready for college classes.

Great reminder from high school!

plenty of downloadable content .. very straightforward It's been about a decade since I took algebra in high school.

As a homeschooler and senior in high school I basically surrendered to the fact that I wasn't good at math.

I was horrible at math in high school and this course has made it so much more understandable for me.

This course is a great starting point for learning algebra/ solidifying your knowledge if you had terrible math teachers in high school like me!

If you remember much of high school math at all, you can skip directly to her algebra courses (which are also excellent).

If I would have had Krista as a tutor in the high school, my academic path would probably been different.

I know that it has been over 4 decades since my college algebra class and my high school algebra 2 class, however, they provided a chapter for introduction to matrix algebra and for introduction to probability.

Amazing course so far, I'm actually really enjoying it and can't wait till the time of day when i can start the lessons (and i failed high school math so that's saying something!).

I had a terrible time with algebra in high school.

After talking with several friends about their high school algebra experiences, I discovered that I’d had a terrible teacher.

If I stay on the grind I'll be able to walk in to my summer Cal 1 and kill it I love the way she breaks down everything step by step giving a written explanation, along with a video you can follow along with.

I also love how she gives you the written format first so you can try it out on your own before she shows you step by step what to do.

Good step by step approach makes it east to build on preceding content. The instructor is easy to follow and understand and the quizzes help to consolidate the lesson content.

This course could use some animations and more detailed explanations understand things i never did before This is a helpful program, but if it gave a step by step walkthrough within the quizzes, it would be much more beneficial.

Some of the course is difficult but step by step solutions are given for every problem in the course as handouts.

This is an excellent review for me of my high-school algebra with detailed examples taken step by step to promote maximum understanding.

Well designed step by step with each step building on the last.

The presentation is great, written step by step and easily understandable.

Math is a lot of fun and this teacher really helps break down some of the more complicated concepts into very easy to learn step by step.

Explained very well as well as the step by step process which definitely makes math more understandable The lectures are easy to understand and could be easily applied in our mathematical daily life I needed a refresher course to work back up to linear algebra.

Good start to Algebra...especially like to review notes first and then walk through video step by step..looking forward to becoming an Algebra master An amazing course!

Everything is thoroughly explained step by step, so you can go back and figure out were you messed up or misunderstood.

Excellent step by step problem solving!

Good to see that it's step by step.

**go back**

After taking some time away from math and having to take go back to it a couple years into college again this was the best course to get gain re-learn math and feel confident that I could succeed a pre-calc after not having taken a math course in 4 years.

It's good to go back over past material to refresh one's knowledge.

The explanations are good For me it is a good course as I have to go back to the fundamentals of mathematics for my next studies.

The class has been really helpful in getting me ready to go back to school, and just to learn Algebra as a hobby.

I'm only taking this course as practice before I go back to the more complicated math and I do appreciate the pace I can advance in.

After many years of regret, I have finally decided to go back to school to finish my degree (for myself) and discovered that the prerequisite for my major is College Algebra.

Ever since I decided to go back to college after all these years, and to accept the facts on algebraic lecture assignments that I had to solve, I was forced to skip course material given by Krista in accordance with the problems at hand, and Krista responded swiftly in providing help on the parts I need to learn, and the better I find it easier to understand the way Krista explains algebra than the book I have, and i don't know why.

I am taking this class to bring me up to speed on math before I go back to college.

I'm taking this course to prep for an Accuplacer exam to go back and pursue my BBA in Management.

Just a little fast at times, but you can just pause or go back.

It has been about 50 years since I've worked any algebra problems, and it is good to go back to the beginning and start again.

**more practice problems**

Could use more practice problems.

Good and clear lectures, could use more practice problems, but i heard those are coming up.

Love the course, just wish there were more practice problems.

My only complaint that it needs more practice problems on the Quiz.

There really needs to be more practice problems.

Also the teacher responds to questions very quickly.

And the author responds to questions quite fast.

I was a little thrown at some of the terms being different at first but everything is really well presented and makes sure you understand well with the quizzes The tutor also listens to feedback and responds to questions frequently.

She is very pleasant and enthusiastic, and responds to questions promptly.

**for example**

For example, It would be nice to see an introduction (video) how the course is laid out.

For example, the zero theorem is used throughout the course but isn't officially covered until Section 19.

The closest thing I have to a complaint is that not everything in an Algebra class was featured in the course - such as for example asymptotes, domain and range of functions, etc.

For example, I will work through one lesson which will be very challenging, and then the next few will feel like a breeze.

For example, always restructuring so your positive terms are first was something I wasn't sure about what was going on until you pointed it out a bit later.

it assumes you already know how to multiply exponents for example.

There are several 'small' things that the instructor seems to either gloss over, or assumes that are known--*especially* with fractions and expanding/simplifying expressions, for example.

**my only**
in 8 reviews

My only problem is the many errors the voice to text translator makes, but I still learn a lot correcting the errors.

But 4 stars because: my only complaint is that sometimes the quizzes and lessons are either insane easy or insanely hard, with little previous explanation as to how i could've known to solve the problem.

Cons: My only concern is that there are very few real world examples.

My only criticism and why I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that there are some occasions where questions on the quizzes are given, or information in the video is assumed before the material has been taught.

My only suggestion might be to include a worksheet of 6-10 problems after each lesson Section 4 could have used some more context.

My only criticism is that some of the lessons seem like they'd be more appropriate in a different order.

**teaching style**
in 8 reviews

This teaching style is of a outdated nature .

The teaching style is engaging, and the fact one cannot advance to the next subject until the quiz is completed with all correct answers is EXCELLENT.

Very good teaching style, algebra is difficult for me, but there is help here.

Apart from that the course is awesome, I'm learning a lot and I'm loving the teaching style.

Very easy and intuitive teaching style.

I wish to complete all of her classes and am extremely confident that her teaching style can get me there.

And there are enough practice problems to make sure the knowledge really sinks in.

Videos follow the written work and address all the basic aspects of the subject to make sure there are no assumptions about your understanding of Algebra.

The quizzes make sure that you know the lesson and quickly go to the next.

She expands on the details to make sure you are really ready for the next step.

I also like how you must get perfect on each quiz to pass, to make sure that you got the concept.

suoper helpful, very easy to follow aljg the concepts and make sure youve learned them Easy to understand molto chiaro e esposto in modo semplice con esempi adeguati Its been a decade and a half since my last algebra class and I'm moving right along thanks to the explicit, easy-to-read directions and pacing in this class.
