Become an Algebra Master

) and an additional 21 workbooks with extra practice problems, to help you test your understanding along the way. Become an Algebra Master is organized into the following sections:

  • Operations and rules of equations

  • Simple equations and advanced equations

  • Like terms

  • Functions and manipulating functions

  • Inequalities and graphing inequalities

  • Graphing points, lines, parabolas, and circles

  • Systems of two equations and systems of three equations

  • Polynomials and factoring

  • Exponents and radicals

  • Ratio and proportion, complex fractions, and rational expressions

  • Imaginary numbers

  • Exponential and logarithmic functions

AND HERE' We start from the beginning... I explain the problem setup and why I set it up that way, the steps I take and why I take them, how to work through the yucky, fuzzy middle parts, and how to simplify the answer when you get it.

Notes: The notes section of each lesson is where you find the most important things to remember. It’s like Cliff Notes for books, but for math. Everything you need to know to pass your class and nothing you don’t.

Quizzes: When you think you’ve got a good grasp on a topic within a course, you can test your knowledge by taking one of the quizzes. If you pass, great. If not, you can review the videos and notes again or ask for help in the Q&A section.

Workbooks: Want even more practice? When you've finished the section, you can review everything you've learned by working through the bonus workbook. The workbooks include tons of extra practice problems, so they're a great way to solidify what you just learned in that section.

HERE' You are a fantastic tutor. A" - Omid N.

  • “At the peak of my mathematical skill level I reached only into the very early stages of learning Trigonometry. Fast forward to now (my early 30's) and by experience alone, realize the infinite possibilities of being a master in mathematics. I chose Ms. King's Algebra course as a review to move past my previous level and must say that I not only ENJOY the course she offers but am getting more from it learning wise than I could have imagined. I wish to complete all of her classes and am extremely confident that her teaching style can get me there. Other than mere reference of other resources, I plan to stay on track with all of Ms. King's courses exclusively. Thank you for a great learning experience. ” - Dean F.

  • “Great. I love how she teaches. ” - Fred B.

  • “The instructor is very clear, both in ideas and in speech. She moves quickly enough to keep your attention, but not so that you get lost.” - Janet M.

  • “I have been enrolled in several Udemy courses but this course is the best. It's my first time posting a review because I am really happy with how Krista King teaches mathematics. One of the best courses on Udemy.” - Salahuddin S.

  • “This course is awesome. She explains everything perfectly. And if you want you can complete a test after every video to make sure you understand everything. I strongly recommend it.” - Rafael N.

  • “The sessions are well planned. Exercises are done at the right times to help consolidate what you have learned during the sessions. Definitely the best math course I have taken. The instructor has done an awesome job with this one.” - Eduardo C.

  • “The instructor's delivery is clear and engaging. The pacing is effective and the quizzes serve to reinforce the knowledge as I learn it.” - Jeremiah P.

    high school

If you remember much of high school math at all, you can skip directly to her algebra courses (which are also excellent).

I now feel more confident to start pre calculus, after having taken her Algebra Course I had a terrible time with algebra in high school.

Again this course is really easy for me since I've been using it as a review so that I can take more advance math courses in the future/ It's been about a decade since I took algebra in high school.

I wish I had her as my math teacher in junior high school and high school so I would have learned this stuff back then.

Already picked up more than I did in high school!

I was very good at algebra in high school and college.

As a homeschooler and senior in high school I basically surrendered to the fact that I wasn't good at math.

    step by step

The content is very well presented and explained in a step by step, very clear and understandable manner.

Well designed step by step with each step building on the last.

Excellent step by step problem solving!

Good to see that it's step by step.

Some of the course is difficult but step by step solutions are given for every problem in the course as handouts.

Everything is thoroughly explained step by step, so you can go back and figure out were you messed up or misunderstood.

This is an excellent review for me of my high-school algebra with detailed examples taken step by step to promote maximum understanding.

    go back

thanks, you help to solve problems on The class has been really helpful in getting me ready to go back to school, and just to learn Algebra as a hobby.

After many years of regret, I have finally decided to go back to school to finish my degree (for myself) and discovered that the prerequisite for my major is College Algebra.

For me it is a good course as I have to go back to the fundamentals of mathematics for my next studies.

It has been about 50 years since I've worked any algebra problems, and it is good to go back to the beginning and start again.

Ever since I decided to go back to college after all these years, and to accept the facts on algebraic lecture assignments that I had to solve, I was forced to skip course material given by Krista in accordance with the problems at hand, and Krista responded swiftly in providing help on the parts I need to learn, and the better I find it easier to understand the way Krista explains algebra than the book I have, and i don't know why.

I am taking this class to bring me up to speed on math before I go back to college.

I'm only taking this course as practice before I go back to the more complicated math and I do appreciate the pace I can advance in.

    my only

My only problem is the many errors the voice to text translator makes, but I still learn a lot correcting the errors.

Cons: My only concern is that there are very few real world examples.

My only criticism(if you can call it that), is that maybe some additional practice problems could be added. Then again, with a little effort from the student, that can be supplemented independently.

My only criticism and why I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that there are some occasions where questions on the quizzes are given, or information in the video is assumed before the material has been taught.

My only suggestion might be to include a worksheet of 6-10 problems after each lesson Section 4 could have used some more context.

My only criticism is that some of the lessons seem like they'd be more appropriate in a different order.
