This course is designed to make you a safer, better driver.

Driving is a common daily practice for most of us. We drive to work and sometimes in the course of working. We drive for personal reasons outside of work, whether we're running errands, traveling, or going out for entertainment.

Driving is likely to be the most dangerous daily activity we all perform. Accidents can lead to fatalities, long-term injuries, and tens of thousands of dollars in property damage and liability. You can go to prison for operating your vehicle in a harmful or negligent manner. That is why this course is so important, especially for workers who drive at work while performing their job duties.

In this course, we cover the basic tenets of defensive driving. We teach you how to:

* Understand your vehicle's capabilities

* Be aware of your surroundings and the traffic around you

* Drive in a manner that best protects you and others

* Follow state law and safety guidelines for driving in a workplace vehicle

* Inspect and maintain your vehicle for optimal use

Our course is straightforward and requires minimal technical knowledge. It may be used to improve the driving of anyone who operates a standard, two-axle vehicle.
