Dans ce cours d'introduction, basé sur le MOOC "COVID-19 Contact Tracing" de l'Université Johns Hopkins, vous découvrirez la science qui se cache derrière le virus SARS-CoV-2, y compris la période infectieuse, la présentation clinique de la COVID-19, et les modes de transmission du SARS-CoV-2 d’une personne à une autre.

Nous aborderons les raisons pour lesquelles la recherche des contacts peut être une intervention de santé publique efficace. Après avoir acquis les connaissances de base sur le virus SARS-CoV-2 nous allons nous intéresser aux moyens utilisés pour en arrêter la propagation : la recherche des contacts de cas de COVID-19, l'isolement et la quarantaine. Nous vous montrerons également comment ce que vous avez déjà appris sur l'infection et la transmission vous aidera pour l'application de ces notions de santé publique essentielles.
Etapes pour enquêter sur un cas et rechercher ses contacts
Dans ce module, nous passerons en revue les étapes du processus de recherche des contacts à travers des exemples concrets. Vous pourrez également observer des d'interactions basiques avec un cas et un contact.
