Pronóstico y Análisis de los Ingresos Públicos (RFAx) from edX

El pronóstico de los ingresos públicos se refiere al uso de técnicas de análisis para producir estimaciones de futuras entradas financieras para el gobierno. Es sumamente importante para los legisladores, ya que los ayuda a trazar las políticas públicas adecuadas y a planificar los programas de gastos en función de dichos ingresos proyectados. Si bien los gobiernos obtienen ingresos de distintas fuentes, los impuestos en general son el mecanismo principal de financiación. Por lo tanto, este curso se enfoca en el pronóstico y análisis de los ingresos tributarios.

Primero señalamos los lugares en los que se puede acceder a los datos y lo guiamos sobre cómo evaluar la calidad de sus datos. Luego pasamos a técnicas de pronósticos generales. Aplicamos estas técnicas para pronosticar los ítems principales de ingresos tributarios, como los impuestos al valor agregado, derechos de importación, impuestos selectivos, impuestos sobre la renta de las personas físicas e impuestos sobre la renta de las personas jurídicas. Este curso también brinda una introducción sobre las técnicas que pueden utilizarse para estimar los efectos recaudatorios de reformas tributarias y su impacto distributivo.
