This course is intended for IT professionals tasked with administering a Storage Scale cluster consisting of Linux nodes.

We will discuss the Storage Scale installer toolkit, installer GUI, cluster upgrade scenarios, cluster health monitoring, cluster performance data collection and monitoring, management GUI, file system encryption, cluster security, and call home features. Many of the features are described in lecture materials and implemented in lab exercises.

Introduction
Welcome to IBM Storage Scale: Advanced Administration. Please complete the reading and video to understand the purpose and audience for this course.
Read more
Unit 1: Advanced installation techniques
In unit one, you'll explore advanced installation techniques of IBM Storage Scale. You'll complete three videos, one quiz, and one lab exercise.
Unit 2: Upgrading a cluster
Now that you have covered installation, it's time to become familiar with upgrading a cluster. Watch the five videos of this unit then complete the lab exercise and quiz.
Unit 3: Monitoring cluster health
We are sticking with clusters in unit three, but now it's all about cluster health. Through the next three videos, you'll explore the different ways that you can monitor the cluster health. Once you feel comfortable with the information, complete the quiz.
Unit 4: Performance monitoring and tuning
Cluster health isn't the only thing you can monitor. In unit four, we are exploring performance monitoring and tuning. To complete the unit, watch both videos, pass the quiz, and complete the lab exercise.
Unit 5: Cluster and data security
In unit 5, we are exploring data security and the measures you can take. This unit is broken up over four videos, one quiz, and one lab exercise.
Unit 6: Storage Scale Call Home
The last unit is all about the Call Home feature of Storage Scale. Complete the videos, take the quiz, and explore the lab exercise.
Final quiz
To pass the course, you must receive a passing grade of 80% or higher on the final quiz. The quiz covers information from all units and videos.
