Creating a Logo and iOS Icons for a Mobile App in Illustrator
In this Illustrator tutorial, we'll learn how to create a logo and iOS icon for a mobile application. You'll learn how to do the right research for our app's icons and learn what questions we can ask before the project to help guide the design process. You'll also learn how to convert a sketch into a vector graphic by using the pen and smooth tools effectively. You'll takeaway some new skills using the pathfinder, shape builder, gradients, and type tools while we create our logo. From there, we'll review Apple's guidelines to adapt our logo into a mobile application icon. Finally, you'll learn to prepare the art for output and package it for the client. By the end of this Illustrator training, you'll feel confident enough to create a stunning and effective logo design that will suit the ever-growing mobile marketplace. Software required: Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC.
