This course provides learners an introduction to the international communication system with a focus on Taiwan and the Asian region. It includes the topics of introduction to international communication, international news flow, media technology and media transformation, cultural identity and the construction of national brand, and some related issues. Learners will attain a brief understanding of Taiwan’s international communication system and its transition in recent years.
