Note that the control panel is still available in Windows 10; however, as Windows 10 matures they are moving toward using the Settings feature instead. I have a plan to implement a section related to this area in the near future.
If you cannot find the control panel in Windows 10 try this: click the Start button (bottom left). As soon as the Start menu appears start typing Control Panel. It should appear in the search results for you to click on. It is important that after clicking the Start button you do not do anything else and immediately start to type Control Panel. If you accidentally make a mistake, click on your desktop and try again, you may need to close any programs that may have been accidentally opened by clicking the red X at the top right of the program.
