The speed and agility which a cloud platform can bring to your business can also easily result in a lack of oversight. This course shows you what Governance in Microsoft Azure looks like and how to architect and implement it.

Many businesses are justifiably keen to take up the advantages of a public cloud platform – shared infrastructure responsibility, native tooling, and the opportunity to rapidly deploy fit-for-purpose solutions. The problem is that the public cloud is a very open framework which doesn’t tell you how to do things in the manner which is most appropriate for your business. Each cloud provider expects you to provide a pattern of governance, control, and accountability which is the most appropriate for your business model and provides the tools, guidance, and functionality to do so. In this course, Mastering Microsoft Azure Governance, you will learn foundational knowledge to build and implement Governance in Microsoft Azure. First, you’ll examine enterprise governance in Microsoft Azure and work through architectural patterns which are aligned with Microsoft best practices. Then, you’ll work through the fundamental tools which underpin the Microsoft Azure Enterprise Scaffold, seeing what the configuration options and considerations are and learning how to interact with these platforms. Finally, you’ll bring all this knowledge and learning together and learn how to craft repeatable patterns for every Azure subscription across your organization.
