This course walks a new Linux system administrator through a few basic tools that are used to monitor, configure and optimize a system, and assist with troubleshooting issues. There are two sections to this course. Our first section focuses on select command line utilities. Our second section covers a couple of web-based administrative tools. By completion a new system administrator will be familiar with a few different tools to help manage processes, monitor system functionality, and control systems remotely.
