This course focuses on one of the Four Gentleman Plants—bamboo. The Four Gentleman Plants (plum blossoms, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum) are deeply rooted in Eastern culture, symbolizing noble virtues. In this course, we will explore both the artistic and cultural aspects of bamboo painting. After a brief theoretical breakdown of both subjects, we will dive straight into the world of brush painting, bringing them to life on paper.

By the end of the course, you will have completed two full paintings, featuring these essential subjects in harmony.
