Reviews summary

Effective introduction to markdown with interactive practice

According to learners, this course provides a clear and concise introduction to Markdown, making it an efficient way to learn essential syntax. Students particularly praise the interactive screencasts on the Scrimba platform, which allow for hands-on coding practice directly in the browser, significantly aiding comprehension and retention. While the course is highly effective for absolute beginners seeking to quickly grasp Markdown for various applications like READMEs or blogs, some experienced learners found it too basic, indicating it's best suited as a foundational resource. A few students also wished for more challenging exercises or a mini-project to apply their knowledge.

May not challenge those with prior Markdown or similar knowledge.
"Found it too basic for my needs. I already knew some Markdown, and this didn't offer much beyond the very fundamental syntax."
