The Cisco CCNA is one of the most widely recognized and respected qualifications in the IT industry. Every year, tens of thousands of people embark towards taking the exam via private study, Cisco Academy courses, or online training.
The sad truth is most students quit along the way, and for those few who actually do attempt it, only 50% pass. All that time, effort, and money wasted. If there are so many manuals, CBT courses, lab simulators, exam engines, and study resources out there, then what goes wrong?

The sad truth is most students quit along the way, and for those few who actually do attempt it, only 50% pass. All that time, effort, and money wasted. If there are so many manuals, CBT courses, lab simulators, exam engines, and study resources out there, then what goes wrong?
This is the question Cisco trainer Paul Browning wanted to get to the bottom of. After interviewing thousands of students, he discovered that most people quit because they are simply overwhelmed with the sheer volume of material they need to digest and, of course, the large number of hands-on skills they need to be able to demonstrate in the exam. Add to that the day-to-day stresses of commuting to work, bringing up a family, and the distraction of everyday problems and challenges; it’s no wonder people quit.
This is where Cisco CCNA in 60 Days can help. Devised by four industry experts and countless Cisco students just like you, the 60-day programme breaks down every exam requirement into a daily study task. All you need to do is turn up at the relevant day (from 1 to 60), watch the theory, and complete the lab and practice exam. This method has helped tens of thousands of students study for the CCNA exam since 2006.
Every other CCNA course throws information at you and hopes it sticks. You have to work out what to study, what to revise, what to lab up and which practice exams to take. We do all of this for you using advanced learning methods. Every subject is covered multiple times through:
Videos
Exams
Hands-on labs
Cram guide
Challenge labs
Review sessions

Let's review some of the common network devices you will be using as a Cisco engineer.
Hopefully much of this will be a review of what you already know from CompTIA Network+ studies. Today we lay the foundation of our networking knowledge.
They love models in internetworking! The TCP model is a way of understanding devices and protocols and you need to know it for the exam.
Although CSMA/CD isn't specifically mentioned in the syllabus, you are expected to know it as a network fundamental.
Remember that there is a quiz for every day and bonus quizzes at:
https://www.in60days.com/free/ccnain60days/exams/
We’ve covered a lot of ground already! If you were already working in networking or with Cisco equipment it may already be familiar but for most of you it will be a steep learning curve.
Please review the previous three lessons (only the stuff you don’t already understand). Repeat the labs and ensure you can do them without looking at the commands. Don't panic if stuff isn't sinking in yet. We will be covering this all again in more review days, labs, crams and free choice study sessions.
Please complete the attached challenges including the IP addressing lab. Check the earlier videos because the solution is pretty similar.
Also, write out subnets 192.168.16.0 through to 192.168.31.0/24. Now write out the supernet/summary address you would advertise out if you owned all these networks. I've attached my solution. For the VLSM there is more than one solution. Feel free to drop your solution in the Q and A.
Another review day.
It’s really important to go back over subjects we’ve covered earlier. This moves the information from short to long term memory. Review the lectures and repeat all the labs.
Today, please review days five to seven. Next please complete the below labs.
Please go back and review the last four days work.
Make sure you understand the theory but also can apply your knowledge to the labs and answer the exam questions.
Please complete the below labs. I don’t provide solutions because the commands are in earlier labs so if you get stuck you can refer back to those.
Time to take a step back and review the last four days topics. Make notes and redo the labs over and over again.
Complete the below labs. Each should only take 10 minutes tops.
