Resent research has proven that the method is also applicable when working with seniors and and dementia patients. Montessori materials and the environment can be both adapted to each individual and help with their cognitive abilities. subjects like practical life, and sensorial can help with dementia and aging symptoms and promote their independence in a way that their overall quality of life highly improves.

Montesenior started when I found myself caring for my mother and homeschooling my daughter with my Montessori materials. I used this materials as a way to  entertain her since she was in bed all day. I quickly notice an increase how this work improved her cognitive abilities, independence and even mood.  Since then I decided to dedicate my life to use the Montessori Method and help seniors and Dementia patients.
