In this course, you will learn and explore about 5G networking and discover how 5G has evolved from its predecessors 4G and 3G. You will learn about new 5G radio, 5G spectrum sharing and end-to-end 5G network architecture. The course has been designed to provide you better understanding of 5G core service requirements including enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Mass Connectivity, and Ultra Reliable and Low Latency Communications using various use cases.

This course consists of an orientation module and seven content modules. A learner is estimated to spend around 4-6 hours per week on each module.

Module 2: 5G Radio Access TechnologyIntroduction to 5G Radio Access Technology which includes understanding basics of new 5G radio such as MIMO and beamforming, 5G radio spectrum sharing, and the 5G architecture.
