In this course, the confident beginner will be able to discover a whole new world of crocheting. You will finally be able to move on to the creation of large projects under my strict guidance. Were you afraid of big items? Be no more. It is much easier than you think.

The sweater from this master class is fully adaptable to your physique and other wishes. You can adjust the length, and the width of the sleeves, choose types of sleeves and lower part ribbings, and decide upon the form of the neckline.

Step by step, together we will go from knitting a pattern to a finished item.

Don't be afraid, I'll always be there. You can contact me any time you experience difficulties.

Supplies you need to start creating:

  • - 5 skeins of yarn (250-300m\100 gr, 2-4 fine, light)

  • - a hook in accordance with the yarn (2.5-3.5 mm, C, D, E)

  • - tape-measure

  • - yarn needle

  • - 4 markers

  • - scissors

Don't forget to wash the sweater by hand or in the washing machine before you start wearing it. Dry it out on a flat horizontal surface. Trust me, that in the majority of cases, the yarn transforms after washing.

In this lesson I will help you to choose the yarn. I will also help you to decide which hook to use regardless the recommendations given by the manufacturer. You will also get to know about types of yarn (wool, cotton, synthetics).

Follow this step-by-step video to crochet the swatch.

One of the most important steps in this project is to measure the swatch. It is crucial at this appoint so to avoid mistakes in the future.

The magic of this sweater is that you don't need to write down dozens of measurements. Just 2 numbers will help you create the sweater of your dreams.

We finally reached the moment when we can count the number of necessary stitches, and start creating in the next lesson.

This lesson will give you an understanding of what "raglan" actually is.

Do not forget to try on your sweater! It's just the time to decide whether you like how the neckline looks like, and how long the raglan lines are.

In my sweater, I'm using the Japanese way of adjusting the neckline.

This lesson will help be sure of how to start and finish the lower part of your sweater.

This lesson is optional. Only if you wish to decorate the sleeves of your sweater.

Here you can find 3 possible ways of ribbing your sleeves.

This final lesson will teach you to make the ribbing of the neckline.
