stand up comedy

Amazing course to give you an extra edge on Stand Up Comedy or Public Speaking.Very easy and simple to follow. He seems to tell you all the stuff books and other stuff forget to mention such as crowd work, types of jokes, etc.

I've been on stage plenty, but never for stand up comedy before taking this course.

I was going to give this only 3 stars, but went with 4 because the course is a good introduction to the business end of stand up comedy.

This course is a wonderful intro to stand up comedy and public speaking in general.

I can honestly say that if you follow Philippe's guide step by step, you WILL succeed at a basic level in stand up comedy and will undoubtedly gain skill and confidence in public speaking.

I looked all over the internet for a thoughtful how-to for getting into stand up comedy and I couldn't really find anything useful until I found this course.

writing jokes

i would say if you can get past the lack of detail in writing jokes and understand everything in this course you will definitely get some laughs, like i said this was a fun course and i can't wait to get onstage and get some laughs :) This has been on my Queue for a very long time now.

The first chapters dedicated to the jokes structure are very comprehensive and applicable to the real world, if it's your first time and you are a funny person you will be writing jokes very fast.

That would give more clarity into the process of writing jokes.
