The lasy thing you want to do is spend weeks creating an online course that no one wants to buy. To avoid that you need to validate your course idea before you build the course. In this chapter we will cover 3 validation stages.
The first validation strategy is to search for market proof online. We want to ensure there are already people looking for similar courses or existing courses that people are already paying money for.
The second and more analytical approach to finding market proof online involves using Google's free Keyword Planner which will help us discover how many people a month are looking for solutions on the topic for our potential course.
Now it's time to gather real world feedback from our existing network and audience to discover exactly what are their main struggling points. We will use that information to create the outline for our pilot course.
The 3rd validation stage is the most effective of all. It consists on selling the course before you build it!
You can also leverage existing crowdfunding platforms to validate your course idea. the best thing is that you get paid by your supporters to build your course in advance!
