Here I'll show you how to set up a channel like this, how to find freelance staff to edit for you, how to find copyright free music and video and to work out how much you could make and so when you'll breakeven and be in profit.

Just like any business, a YouTube channel is now a great and viable way to start a side-income or open multiple channels in the same way and have a portfolio of earning channels.

Just like if you were looking to start a business, a traditional business, a product, a bricks-and-mortar store, you would first research, see your competitors, find staff, release products and track their success and make adjustments... that is exactly what you can you in youtube. You can have a channel earning and start other channels in different niches all without editing or filming a thing; instead you manage the business, have staff... it's such an exciting concept and one huge channels are doing today.

 I must emphasize, please familiarize yourself with the YouTube fairuse policy. Here I'll show you how to set up a channel like this, how to find freelance staff to edit for you, how to find copyright free music and video and to work out how much you could make and so when you'll breakeven and be in profit.

This is an overview of how youtube generates income through AdRevenue and then how you earn too. I will show you examples of live channels now and their RPM and CPM for that niche

I can show you examples where videos had views from the USA compared to India and how much the difference it between those earnings (it's crazy!). You need to attract an audience from the right country or your earnings will be significantly affected

What are the main things to think about when choosing a channel type? Earnings potential, knowledge, competition... let's discuss.

This is an exercise I developed to ask the critical questions to work out what you should make a channel about and even develop the channel name, tagline and video structure, all here on this sheet!

Research is key, it will save you years and years off your channel growth time. You need to understand in your niche what got people to click (it's very different between niches) and show you can also get a high CTR and more impressions.

Now we're starting to move! We'll learn how to get out first 30 video ideas and thumbnails from research so we can begin the process of getting videos made

While we wait for your thumbnails to be created we can begin to create your actual channel - this is a step by step guide of how to correctly set up your YouTube channel

So as not to sow down out progress, let's get out channel art made. I'll show you exactly what I mean here for the 3 pieces of art you'll need created for your channel and where to upload these.

You may or may-not need a script for your niche (see the video structure we discussed in the previous lectures) and it'll be the most expensive part of the process if you do... here's all the options and costs

Here are free and paid stock footage options (detailed in video). But also the YouTube fair-use policy allows for you to use other recorded footage but only in a specific way (search Youtube "Fairuse policy" for full details of how you have to use footage to adhere to these rules). Let me show you how you can use this and how to download those for free.

This will also be a more expensive part of your production process and I show you both getting a voiceover produced for you online or free options using voice generators or doing it yourself.. it' really depends on your channel niche and your own league you speak.

there are some great copyright free music sources for around $30 per month (i'll show you which) but also there is a YouTube audio library that is free... let me know you where just so you don't get any copyright strikes.

This is how you find great editors at great prices and see the resource in lecture 20 for direct clickable links to the editors I show. We need 3 editors and i'll let you why...

Use this sheet to follow  though what and how you need to send your materials to an editor and also use my template to negotiate a great deal with an editor (always be fair please, editing is a tough and long job, respect that but negotiate a deal if you can offer the editor more and continuous work if it benefits them).

You need a strong production plan and calendar for what you are doing, when and releasing videos so you can keep a steady stream of content to help your channel grow. Let me share my production calendar with you
