Firstly, before getting into the course, we need to ask this question to ourselves, why should we start an Airbnb business? Well, there are many reasons why, first of all, if you own a property, it can be any type of property, house, apartment, or even villa and you have unused room, it has potential to earn you sustainable passive income if you rent it out on Airbnb. Well, you might be wondering why Airbnb and why not regular rent? The answer to that question is pretty simple, on Airbnb, your guest will pay per night not per month, so obviously, even with lower occupancy rate, your overall revenue is still higher compared to regular rent. For example, you own a two bedroom apartment and the average rent in your city is eight hundred dollars per month, however if you rent it on Airbnb, you will charge the guest eighty dollars per day. By doing so, you only need a guest to stay in your apartment for ten days in order to make eight hundred dollars. Therefore, even with a thirty three percent occupancy rate, you will be able to make the same as if you rent it out on a monthly basis.
