In the lessons I am going to teach intermediate Latvian language:

  • Grammar

  • Vocabulary

  • Dialogues

The main focus is going to be grammar, but I added some new vocabulary as well. At the end of lessons I have added dialogues, and students can learn new vocabulary words. These dialogues can show how the sentences look like and also hear my word pronunciation. But during a lesson, I sometimes added sentence examples or specific grammar so students can instantly see how it looks like in a sentence. To make lessons more colourful, I'm using tools like dolls, and it's visually easier to understand when I give a sentence or word examples with feminine, masculine, singular and plural variations.

So after finishing this course, you will reach the intermediate level of the Latvian language. You will be able to understand a text better and not just in basic sentences. It is a course to take Latvian language skills to the next level and encourage to learn more about this language to reach an Advanced level.

Even when a person has already reached an intermediate level, this course can be practical for students to test their grammar skills, word pronunciations or even learn new vocabulary.

It can be tricky since the language is more complex than English. It has many differences like grammatical cases, different sounding letters, but it's possible to learn it. It just takes determination and enthusiasm.
