Michele Cracraft, Head of Cloud Center of Enablement, will share Cigna’s Cloud Center of Enablement’s journey to build its Public Cloud Education program starting with zero dollars budget and one (1) resource. Cigna’s Cloud COE was formed in 2018 to support internal customers with bringing new technology solutions and applications to the public cloud. Part of its mission was to develop a Cloud Education program that would ensure early public cloud adopters had access to role-based training for Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure; as well as other cloud related technologies. In this session, Cloud Education Programming Manager, Michele Cracraft, will highlight how to develop a Cloud Education program from scratch and with an initial budget of zero ($) dollars into what is now a multi-million dollar valued program. Discussion topics will include: · Education strategy development and execution · Assessing “who” needs “what” training · Accessing free CSP resources to get started · Building vendor relationships · Securing funding · Formation of education cohorts · Development of new “hybrid” learning model leveraging Pluralsight’s digital content and tools At the conclusion of this session, participants will leave with a set of best practices and new ideas on how to build their own Cloud Education program.
