Social activism is a broad term that encompasses any type of action that is taken to promote social change. This can include everything from attending protests and rallies to volunteering for a cause to running for political office. Social activism can be motivated by many different factors, such as a desire to improve the lives of others, to protect the environment, or to advance a particular political cause.
Why Study Social Activism?
There are many reasons why one might want to study social activism. Some people may be interested in learning about the history of social movements, while others may want to learn how to be more effective activists themselves. Still others may be interested in the social, political, and economic factors that contribute to social problems.
