The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is the founding and ruling political party of the People's Republic of China. It is the largest political party in the world, with over 90 million members. The CCP's ideology is based on Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought, and its ultimate goal is to establish a communist society in China.

History of the CCP

The CCP was founded in 1921 by a group of Chinese intellectuals and activists, including Mao Zedong. The party Initially played a minor role in Chinese politics, but it gradually grew in strength and influence over the following decades. In 1949, the CCP led the Communist forces to victory in the Chinese Civil War, and Mao Zedong became the first leader of the People's Republic of China.

Ideology of the CCP

The CCP's ideology is based on Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought. Marxism-Leninism is a political and economic theory that advocates for the overthrow of capitalism and the establishment of a socialist society. Mao Zedong Thought is a Chinese adaptation of Marxism-Leninism that emphasizes the importance of the peasantry and the role of the CCP in leading the revolution.
