Electric cars, also known as electric vehicles (EVs), are vehicles that run on electricity, rather than on gasoline or diesel. They are powered by electric motors, which are much more efficient than internal combustion engines. Electric cars produce zero emissions, which makes them much more environmentally friendly than traditional cars. They are also much quieter than gasoline-powered cars, which makes them more pleasant to drive in urban areas.
