DNSSEC
DNSSEC stands for Domain Name System Security Extensions. It is a protocol that adds cryptographic security to the Domain Name System (DNS).
DNS is a hierarchical naming system for computers and other devices connected to the Internet. When a user types a domain name into their web browser, their computer sends a request to a DNS server to resolve that name to an IP address. The DNS server will then return the IP address for the requested domain name, allowing the computer to connect to the website associated with that domain name.
