Indigenous Education explores the unique histories, cultures, and educational experiences of Indigenous peoples around the world. It addresses the challenges and opportunities facing Indigenous communities in accessing and participating in education, and seeks to promote culturally responsive and equitable educational practices. This field of study encompasses a range of disciplines, including history, anthropology, sociology, education, and Indigenous knowledge systems.
