How to Become a Nutrition Counselor
The path to a career as a Nutrition Counselor varies depending on your current education level. To become a registered dietitian nutritionist or licensed nutritionist, you must earn a bachelor's degree and complete an internship. You can also obtain a Master's in Nutrition or related field without becoming licensed.
If you hold a bachelor's degree in any field, you can also complete a certificate program in nutrition counseling. These programs typically take six months to two years to complete, and they provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to work as a nutrition counselor.
