Are you passionate about improving the health of others? Do you have a strong academic background and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of your patients? If so, a career as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) may be the perfect fit for you.

Educational Requirements

The first step to becoming a Medical Doctor is to earn a bachelor's degree. While there is no one-size-fits-all path to medical school, most aspiring M.D.s choose to major in a science-related field, such as biology, chemistry, or physics. Once you have completed your bachelor's degree requirements, the next step is to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). The MCAT is a standardized exam designed to assess your knowledge of science, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills.
