Education and Experience
Well Test Engineers typically have a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field. Some companies may prefer candidates with a master's degree. In addition to formal education, Well Test Engineers must have a strong understanding of well testing principles and practices. This knowledge can be gained through experience, on-the-job training, or online courses.
