Clinical Neuropsychologists are responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with cognitive, emotional, and behavioural disorders that result from brain injury or disease. They work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres, and schools. Clinical Neuropsychologists use a variety of techniques to assess and diagnose their patients, including interviews, observations, and psychological tests. They also provide therapy and counselling to help their patients improve their cognitive and emotional functioning.
Education and Training
Clinical Neuropsychologists typically have a doctorate in clinical psychology or a related field. They must also complete a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology.
