E-commerce marketing managers are in charge of supervising and carrying out marketing initiatives for online shops. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to create and carry out successful marketing plans. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, analyze data, and make data-driven judgments, e-commerce marketing managers must possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They should also be creative and knowledgeable about the most recent digital marketing trends and technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

The daily tasks of an e-commerce marketing manager may include the following:

  • Create and carry out marketing strategies for online shops
  • Manage and evaluate digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing
  • Collaborate with product development and sales teams to create and launch new products and services
  • Analyze data to assess the success of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions
