A Freelance Salesperson, as an independent contractor, builds a freelance business selling products and services for a variety of clients. Salespeople in this role are responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, developing sales proposals, and closing deals. They may also be responsible for providing customer service.

Job Duties

The primary responsibility of a Freelance Salesperson is to generate revenue for their clients by selling products or services.

Additional duties may include:

  • Identifying and qualifying potential clients
  • Developing and delivering sales presentations
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals

Education and Training

Most Freelance Salespeople have at least a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Some may also have experience in sales or customer service.
