Solar Technician
Responsibilities
Solar Technicians are responsible for a range of tasks that include:
- Installing and maintaining solar panels and other solar energy equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing solar energy systems
- Inspecting solar energy systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
- Providing customer service and technical support
- Staying up-to-date on the latest solar energy technologies
Education and Training
Most Solar Technicians have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete on-the-job training or an apprenticeship program. Some Solar Technicians may also complete an associate degree or certificate program in solar energy or a related field.
Skills
