Autodesk’s Maya is one of the most highly used overall 3D creation packages. It’s used heavily in media and entertainment, with applications in many other areas. Modeling (the creation of 3D characters, props, and environments) is one of the key components of a 3D pipeline and Maya has a robust modeling toolset.
