In this 1-hour long project-based course, you will learn how to visualize Cryptocurrencies using violin plot, pie chart, box plot, scatter plots, line graph, area graph, and candlestick charts through Plotly Express which is a high-level Data Visualization library. You will learn how to create excellent quality graphs and charts using Python. We will be using a real-world application of Data Visualization: The Cryptocurrency market. Whether you are a Crypto enthusiast, a crypto investor, day trader or just someone who wants to “WOW” his audience by creating excellent quality graphs and charts, this course will be highly beneficial to you. You will not only learn Data visualization in Plotly but also about the real-world application of it in the Cryptocurrency market. We will begin by importing all the necessary libraries including Plotly express. Then we will import our dataset and analyze our dataset. Then we will start creating visualizations. We will start with a detailed analysis of the entire crypto market and then focus on bitcoin in the final crypto-specific data visualization section. First, we will use the violin chart and pie charts to compare the cryptocurrencies in terms of their volume. Then we will compare all the cryptocurrencies in terms of their price using box plots. Then we will create scatter plots to have a closer look at the entire crypto market. Finally, we will select bitcoin for the crypto-specific data visualization section and create a line graph. area chart and candlestick chart to visualize and analyze bitcoin. We will be using the Rhyme interface for our guided project. Rhyme is an interactive cloud desktop that gives you the interface to learn hands-on by writing the code yourself. You will get instant access to pre-configured cloud desktops containing all of the software and data you need for the project. Everything is already set up directly in your internet browser so you can just focus on learning. Please note that although this project deals with cryptocurrencies, it is for educational purposes only. Basic knowledge of Python programming language is recommended but even those with no prior programming experience will be able to complete this guided project. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.
