Any video, any course about the economic policies of Donald Trump is going to be out of date as soon as it is published. There will be new data on growth, taxes, imports etc. But the analysis of using import tariffs, going for growth, cutting/raising taxes as a policy instrument, will not date.

That is what this course does : analysis.

In addition to analysing these economic policy instruments we look at the various policy announcements - and appointments - made before Donald Trump came into office - and then produce updates as the policies are implemented. The course equips you with the economics knowledge necessary to analyse and evaluate the policies and encourages you to comment by asking a series of provocative questions. These questions will date BUT the answers and ensuing discussions keep the topic alive.

There is a section on the course called Trump Day/Night. Here we - you and the Instructor(s) - consider policy questions asked and then we discuss further in the Q/A. The course also includes numerous Case Studies and 'Trump Factsheets'.

So this course is a stepping stone. A vehicle for understanding. The Q/A a venue for discussion.

In addition, if you fully participate - Case Studies, discussions - you will achieve the Oxford Diploma. Not a Masters Degree. Not a degree. But a Diploma of Achievement because to be awarded such you will have honed your analytical skills through monitoring, discussing and evaluating Trumponomics in real time.

This is a course for students eager to learn - and develop.
