The Beginner’s Bible Survey is an introductory course (intended for the first "semester") on the Bible that, in an easy-to-follow format, presents all the important themes of the entire Bible and ties both Old and New Testaments into one story. There is a wealth of information here for those who are interested in where the Bible came from, the history of Israel, the beginnings of the Church, and even the Bible’s description of the end of time. It's a “fundamentals” survey, which means that anyone from high school level upwards will be able to benefit from it.

It is non-denominational, it is not sermons – it’s simply approaching the data of the Bible as a textbook, according to the way the Bible presents itself.
Included within Part Two of the Survey is:
The historical books of the Old Testament: Along with the video, you can download the appropriate section of the textbook Mystery Revealed: A Beginner’s Bible Survey, the original text written by the instructor. Then each lesson provides a quiz covering the material in the video lecture, designed to help summarize and enhance your understanding of the concepts.
Your understanding of the Bible, and the God that it describes, will suddenly become fuller and richer after covering this course.
(The instructor's Part One course covered the background and overview of the Old Testament, and the Part Three course follows this one and covers the NT)
We all have ways of doing things. God himself has ways, and his ways are unique to him. But it takes time to learn what his ways are – which means we have to get close to him to learn what they are. In this video we study what his ways are like, and some of his better known ways as used in the story of the Bible.

Actually the entire Bible is a record of God's works. There are certain things that only God can do, and we can summarize these types of works into seven categories. Once we know what they are, they become the targets of our prayer life and the foundation of the life of the Church.

Joshua became Moses' religious and political heir, and it was his task to take Israel into the Promised Land. Learn here the steps he took to defeat the Canaanites, the tasks he performed to settle the Israelites into their new home, and how the work of Jesus parallels the ministry of Joshua.
The story of Ruth is more than a Biblical romance! There was a problem about having Moabites living among the Israelites; the Law strictly forbade it. But Ruth wanted to live with the People of God. This video looks at how the problem was solved by the Kinsman-Redeemer, and the family line that resulted in King David was started.
The nation of Israel was in a political and religious mess for at least 400 years when David took over as King. Since he was a "man after God's own heart," he understood what had to be done in order to pull the nation back together. He formulated a 5-Point Plan that would bring Israel back to their God. Jesus, of course, being the Son of David, is following this same 5-Point Plan in his Church today. (Part 1)

The point about prayer is to get answers. But if we want God to hear us and answer us, then we have to learn the protocols of prayer: we have to have the right attitude (6 aspects), we have to learn the agenda (5 elements), and we have to learn about what constitutes a crisis for an answer from God (7 situations).
The Bible describes wisdom as knowing how to live in God's world, in God's way. Here we look at the steps that one takes to grow in wisdom, and the beginning point and whole purpose of wisdom. Then we survey the five Wisdom books in the Old Testament and what the point of each book is, so that we can use them in our own growth in wisdom in God's Kingdom.
The Prophet – men who figured so largely in Israel's history – had a specific task to accomplish. They always came in bad times, and the reason was the disobedience of God's people. Learn what the Prophetic message consisted of, and what God expected from his people upon hearing the Prophet. Then we look at the two greatest Prophets in Israel's history and what their task was. (Part 1)

Israel's priests were charged with the task of representing the people of God in the Temple, serving both God and man. But not anybody could be a priest – the priesthood was given to only one tribe in Israel. In this video we see the specific tasks of the priests in the Temple, and what exactly their limitations were. Then we learn about a new kind of Priest (dating from the beginning of the Bible) who overcame those limitations – which is the basis of Christ's Priesthood for the Church.
