Lectura crítica: proceso, niveles y herramientas from Coursera

La lectura crítica es fundamental para transformar el pensamiento, aprender, comunicarse y conseguir objetivos cotidianos, académicos y profesionales. Este curso, diseñado por el Centro de Español de la Universidad de los Andes, le ofrecerá herramientas para comprender que la lectura crítica implica un proceso que se desenvuelve a lo largo de varias fases, que requiere distintos niveles de profundidad y que exige la aplicación de múltiples estrategias y herramientas a diversos tipos de materiales.

Este curso le permitirá identificar sus fortalezas y debilidades para incentivar su aprendizaje autónomo y continuo con el fin de que pueda comprender a la lectura crítica como una herramienta para desarrollar su pensamiento. Al identificar, evaluar y contrastar perspectivas propias y ajenas en un proceso que conduce a cuestionar, podrá reforzar o modificar sus conocimientos y desarrollar mejores habilidades críticas.

El curso provee métodos y herramientas prácticas de fácil uso y apropiación. Cada estudiante encontrará diferentes recursos como videos, lecturas, actividades y cuestionarios, los cuales buscan afianzar y aterrizar el conocimiento provisto en cada una de las lecciones y actividades.

Adicionalmente, el curso propone realizar una evaluación diagnóstica al inicio de cada módulo, así como al final con el fin de que pueda revisar sus aprendizajes con las realimentaciones registradas en la plataforma. Así, podrá continuar con su progreso de aprendizaje y reflexionar acerca de sus logros y aspectos por mejorar durante el desarrollo del curso.
