Курс предназначен для ознакомления обучающихся различного уровня и направлений подготовки с междисциплинарным направлением исследований, которое в зарубежной научной литературе получило наименование Diaspora Studies (диаспоральные исследования). Речь идет о функционировании в современных условиях глобальной политики сравнительно устойчивых сообществ, объединенных общим этническим или территориально-культурным происхождением. В контексте ослабления государств – с точки зрения их монополии на насилие и способность реагировать на масштабные кризисные ситуации – значение негосударственных акторов возрастает, что относится, в том числе и к диаспорам. Акцент в курсе сделан на невоенные аспекты международно-политических процессов, что отражает довольно частый спрос у обучающихся на «новые» международные темы, а не классический набор бинарных оппозиций «война и мир», «глобализация и регионализация» и тп. Курс нацелен на формирование у обучающихся представлений о роли диаспор в современной глобальной политике. В ходе данного курса обучающиеся смогут научиться: - определять, что такое диаспора; - выбирать различные инструменты для анализа диаспор; - оценивать стратегии урегулирования конфликтов с ярко выраженным диаспоральным компонентом; - работать с данными Международной организации по миграции и других отраслевых международных организаций.
