There are so many rewards to adding sound and vibration to a personal or professional wellness practice. This section discusses the beneficial effects of bowls on the mind, body, spirit. and energy centers. Follow along with your bowl and experience the power of sound and vibration from YOUR bowl.

This video, and several more that follow, is taken from my first training video "Amplify Your Yoga Practice With Singing Bowls" so the setting is a yoga studio, but the content is general enough for this program. Follow along with your own singing bowl as we explore different ways to experience sound and vibration through mind, body and spirit. This section also offers how to take part in your own sound healing experience by being an "active receiver."

The history of the Tibetan singing bowls is shrouded in mystery and there are conflicting stories about how the quartz crystal singing bowls started. This section will deliver some of the historical tidbits that are out there. Do your own research to try to uncover more interesting facts.

The science of sound is so extensive it's hard to know where to start. A small sampling of the science behind the sound is presented and then an invitation to gain a more complete understanding on your own.

Enjoy this mindfulness practice and experiential by closing the eyes and softly tapping your own bowl as you listen to the meditative instructions. If you don't have a bowl, the one on this video is loud enough for you to participate.
