Esta combinación de ciencia, práctica y atención a la persona permiten transformar las condiciones actuales para lograr nuevos estándares de excelencia en las instituciones que promueven la salud. Para ello, se busca la formación de líderes capaces de visualizar una mejor versión del hoy, para un mejor mañana.

Los objetivos del curso 3 son los siguientes:

● Reconocer la importancia de la investigación educativa y clínica para obtener la mejor evidencia científica y conocimiento en favor de la salud.

● Describir la estructura de los Centros Médicos Académicos para fusionar estándares de calidad de la educación con la atención clínica

● Fomentar prácticas de liderazgo en escenarios de atención clínica para establecer mejoras e innovaciones en la educación médica.

Investigación para sanar
En la práctica profesional clínica en ciencias de la salud es imperativo cambiar el enfoque basado en opinión a un enfoque basado en evidencias. Para ello debemos vincular la práctica clínica rutinaria con la investigación científica clínica a fin de generar competencias, habilidades y capacidades en el profesional clínico que integren el método científico en sus prácticas profesionales. El pensamiento crítico y científico permitirá que la atención centrada en el paciente sea óptima y permita generar evidencias que puedan ser difundidas a otros profesionales, así como en la sociedad.

Con la finalidad de alinear las necesidades del entorno con las nuevas alternativas y transiciones educativas y como mecanismo de aseguramiento de la capacidad de generar un impacto en la salud y bienestar de los pacientes, familias, comunidades y naciones, surge la inicialización del Modelo Incremental de Calidad aunado al objetivo de favorecer a cada institución a distinguir sus características actuales con la finalidad de detonar esfuerzos para continuar escalando hacia estándares de educación médica internacionales. El liderazgo Institucional es indispensable en las organizaciones, requiere de personas que día a día impulsen y transformen la filosofía institucional, que generen un marco de referencia que impacte en la forma de pensar y de actuar de todos los integrantes y en los diferentes entornos dentro de las instituciones.
