This full-fledged design course teaches how to use AutoCAD Civil 3D to perform detailed design of stormwater management systems.
This is a hands-on practical course providing step by step guidance on how to use Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA), the companion of Civil 3D.
This course includes a coursebook, video training, practice files, and additional design resources.
The course intends to allow the student to apply common hydrology and hydraulics best practices to design stormwater systems, regardless of their geographical location.

This course is for intermediate to advanced levels of users. The course is purposefully designed to be a hands-on duplication of the real-life experience of the authors.
Infratech Civil uses a “To The Point” approach to tackle the subject at hand. In particular, Infratech uses a solid instructional experience and a cutting edge presentation technique. With this approach, we can highlight the most important points of the course.
Most hydrologic models are based on the EPA's Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) model. SWMM is a proven model design and analyzing urban and also rural drainage systems.
SSA has a built-in capability to run a SWMM model, as well as TR-55, HEC-1, Rational method, and many other hydrologic models.
SSA is uniquely suited for land development design due to its seamless integration with Civil 3D.
