PhET Interactive Simulations (https://phet.colorado.edu/es), un proyecto de la Universidad de Colorado Boulder, ofrece simulaciones científicas y matemáticas divertidas, gratuitas, interactivas y basadas en la investigación para su uso en la educación primaria, secundaria y superior. Probamos y evaluamos exhaustivamente cada simulación para garantizar la eficacia educativa. Todas las simulaciones son de código abierto y gratuitas para todos los estudiantes y profesores.

En este curso, aprenderás estrategias sobre cómo utilizar PhET en situaciones donde estás presentando una simulación frente a la clase entera mediante un proyector, pizarra interactiva o al compartir tu pantalla en clases en línea.

Este curso es el segundo de la especialización “Aprendizaje activo en STEM con Simulaciones Interactivas de PhET”, que incluye 4 cursos en total.

Para completar este curso, necesitas realizar dos de las tres posibles tareas con Revisión entre Compañeros: 1) Indagación con la Clase Entera, 2) Clases Demostrativas interactivas, 3) Preguntas Conceptuales.

PhET en Actividades con la Clase Entera

En este curso revisarás estrategias sobre cómo utilizar PhET cuando se presenta una simulación frente a toda la clase, ya sea utilizando un proyector, televisión, una pizarra interactiva o compartiendo la pantalla en una clase en línea.

Estrategia 1: Indagación con la Clase Entera

Este módulo te presentará estrategias generales para lograr que los estudiantes respondan preguntas abiertas de forma grupal: Indagación con la Clase Entera. Estas estrategias pueden ayudarte como profesor a ser más creativo en los tipos de preguntas que haces y pueden ayudar a revelar los conocimientos previos de los estudiantes, especialmente al introducir un tema nuevo.

Estrategia 2: Clases Demostrativas Interactivas

En este módulo, aprenderás cómo hacer preguntas de predicción específicas y ayudar a estructurar las respuestas de los estudiantes mediante el uso de una hoja de trabajo estructurada (llamadas Hojas de Predicciones) y discusiones en parejas y grupales, usando la estrategia para la clase entera de:Clases Demostrativas Interactivas. Esta estrategia es especialmente efectiva para centrar el pensamiento de los estudiantes en conceptos específicos y ayudarles a reflexionar sobre su propio pensamiento.

Estrategia 3: Preguntas Conceptuales de Opción Múltiple

Este módulo te introducirá a cómo redactar eficazmente preguntas de opción múltiple para fomentar el pensamiento crítico con la estrategia para la clase entera de: Preguntas Conceptuales. Estas preguntas pueden incluir predicciones abiertas, casos contrastantes, ordenar y clasificar, interpretar representaciones, entre otras. Sin embargo, en todos los casos, estas preguntas están redactadas de manera que permiten a los estudiantes votar entre diferentes respuestas de opción múltiple y participar en la instrucción entre pares.

Envío de Actividades y Conclusiones

En este módulo diseñarás dos actividades para una configuración con la clase entera utilizando dos de las tres estrategias revisadas en este curso: Indagación con la Clase Entera, Clases Demostrativas Interactivas y Preguntas Conceptuales.
