In this course there is much more for you to discover about the emotional impact of colour and how it influences our behaviour.

Building on the foundations of the Colour Essentials course, we look deeper into the scientifically established theories of the Colour Affects System. You’ll learn how the four colour groups, each with their own qualities, correspond to four personality types sharing common characteristics.

On this part of your colour journey, you’ll discover how the same colour can affect individuals differently and how to select the right tint, tone or shade of a colour to create the desired impact in your designs. You’ll also discover how different colours influence health and well-being, and support and encourage positive activities and behaviours.

This understanding will significantly enrich your design choices, and help to support and shape your decision-making process. It will allow you to work in a practical way that delivers great design, and enable you to feel confident in presenting a clear rationale to your client.
