Fully updated for Procreate 5.2/5.3. Learn 3d painting, Apple pencil hover & more.

'I've done some Procreate tutorials on YouTube, but they just cover one tool or technique.'

'There are so many things to remember. So many mistakes to make. As a beginner, how do I know when I've learned all the really important stuff?'

Enroll on my latest (and I think best yet) course and find out just how well I can answer these questions for you. I've been a designer/illustrator for over 30 years. I've spent thousands of hours working in various design studios, worked with hundreds of clients and used many, many digital art programs. I've produced art and design for a who's who of top businesses. You may also have seen my artwork on games that have been number 1 all over the world. Now I'm bringing that experience to you via Procreate.

We start out with a multi video project you can follow along with that quickly introduces you to many of the techniques used in Procreate. That way you get up and running quickly. But everything you see in the video is covered in much greater detail as the course progresses.

This course gives you a thorough grounding in the tools and techniques you need to know so you can create some great artwork. These tools and techniques are so fundamental that I make sure that they are covered properly and in detail. Practically every image you see is available as a download so you can follow along and I've also created many practice videos. Not a multi choice quiz where you just have to remember the name of a tool. That's not enough - you need practical exercises for a program like Procreate and I give you exactly that. I'll also give you some valuable tips about tools, techniques and workflow along the way so you can really nail down the fundamental concepts and be ready to move on to more advanced subjects.

Did you notice I said 'fundamental' instead of 'basic'? There's a reason for that. This course is aimed at beginners plus existing users who want to round out their knowledge. But that doesn't mean it's over simplified. Nope. You will learn the same tools and techniques that are used in professional studios. I've been in quite a few design studios in my time and - just between you and me - there's things on this course that I've had to explain to people who use art programs on a daily basis. That's something I can do for you too. As well as being a designer for decades I also spent some time as a teacher and my university degree is all about how people learn. And it is my firm belief that the right way to learn something like Procreate is not to just learn the tools. The right way is to learn the right workflow.

We'll start off with the basics and I'll give you practical advice based on my experience. As for the Valkyrie brush engine introduced in Procreate 5? You will have access to what I think is the most comprehensive tutorial around which covers all the brush sliders and features. We will look at more advanced features like layer masks and curves. Layer blend modes? They so important to creating digital artwork yet so many people are confused by them. Don't be. They are simple - when you know the principles behind them. I'll teach you that. I'll also cover all the adjustments Procreate has to offer. Not just what they do, but also what they can be useful for.

By the end of the course you will have mastered various effective workflows, start to finish. You will gain the confidence to tackle your own art projects, and one day soon you may well be looking at one of your own creations and thinking 'That looks fantastic. I did that...'

Enrol now. Don't forget you have the 30 day money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose and so much to gain. Learn Procreate from someone who knows what's important and knows how to teach. Feel free to check out the ratings and reviews of my other courses. My current Udemy instructor rating is 4.75 out of 5, which is an extraordinarily high score. If you are one of the people who help me get that score - thank you. I've brought the past 5 years of making these courses to this one, and I feel it's my best yet. So get ready to be an effective Procreate artist. Get ready to make your work shine.

I'll see you on the course,

Simon
