The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2022

I'm halfway through the course currently and so far I'm understanding everything perfectly.

The instructions, as well as the explanations are very clear and user-friendly so far.

Great, easy to comprehend explanation so far.

So far I've completed more than 25% of this course & I'm loving it.

So far I have no idea what's going on other than doing what I'm being told to do.

However so far so good.

Next step for me = how to create variables SO far, GREAT.

great, well designed, detailed explanation so far only it needs some more explanation for JOIN... Amazing course with Exceptional detailing of each topic.There are challenges and assessments placed to test our understanding with detailed solutions .The tutor organised the course in a very good manner ,even though i was a beginner I was able to benefit a lot by the end of the course.

Good stuff so far The course is perfect for anyone new to SQL and wants to understand theory and practice writing queries step-by-step.

Overall it was great but I was expecting more on topics on PG admin tools like Event Triggers, Casts, Catalogs.

Well I have some difficulty when installing pg admin but that's due to my window version and already solve it Pgadmin3 looks completely different then pgadmin 4 so I had to pause the lecture and figure out myself where something was in the pgadmin3 Excellent course Explanations are clear and concise even for a beginner, enjoying the course and learning a lot.

It will simple to understand One issue I faced, when I booted PG admin the server list did not have information however a re installation resolved it Everything up to now (section 5) has been very clear and concise.

A bit frustrating that pg admin 4 doesn't work for my new windows computer which makes it harder to match instructions Instructions are very clear.

The instruction is easy enough to follow, what I don't like is that he isn't using the same version of PG Admin throughout the lecture.

I like the demonstration using pg admin So far so good!!

The beginning of the course stresses DB backups and restores with PG admin and is a great way to start.

Good pace and examples, but not fully aware of some of the features of PG Admin (for example, what's a "Schema".

I enjoyed downloading and getting PG Admin on my machine and learning how to create databases from scratch.

Thank you What I got most from the course was experience driving the PG Admin engine and using the PostgreSQL syntax.

Not a huge fan of the material being in PG Admin 3 when we're all using PG Admin 4 by now.

If some more practice questions were there on joins and group by it would be more useful for interviews.

The section about GROUP BY and HAVING was nicely done.

I was always confused in GROUP BY and was avoiding using it my real work place but now I am really confident.

Completed the GROUP BY and Having with ease.

I had followed several SQL courses on TreeHouse and CodeCademy, and even though their courses are really good, the "group by" clause is overlooked by both!

The explanation is very easy to understand, specially the complex concepts such as group by, joins etc.

All he said was they're normally used with the GROUP BY clause.

It is a great refresher, and also I learned the difference between Group by and having.

Thanks to this course I managed to refresh my SQL knowledge very quickly (in 3 days) and learned even more, especially in terms of niuances of GROUP BY clause.

Some more exercises would be helpful; especially for Assessment 2 (could be broken up into 2 assessments in order to help grasp GROUP BY, HAVING, and JOINS).

This course, which i finished in a few days, helped me really get up to speed especially with joins and group by.

I knew nothing about SQL prior to this class and now I can say that I am comfortable with performing any task.

Before taking this course I knew nothing about SQL and now I feel confident when I say I know SQL.

Knew nothing about SQL and I feel comfortable in reading, creating & manipulating database tables.

Before I did this course I knew nothing about SQL .

I repeat, I knew nothing about SQL before I start this course and after taking it I'm very comfortable with this topic, I can read and write SQL in a way that allow me to do pretty much everything I want and if I get stuck I have the necessary tools to overcome the problem, tools that were given during the course.

I knew nothing about SQL, but after taking this course, I can now write my own queries and work in SQL all by myself.

Great course for someone who knew nothing about SQL to start.

I knew nothing about SQL , now I feel much more confident in my SQL skills I enjoyed this course and it was helpful to get a "full picture" of introductory SQL commands.

This is a really explainative course; I knew nothing about SQL when I started and feel comfortable with every single video.

Considering that the title said "*Complete* Boot Camp", I expected the instructor to go into a lot more detail and into some advanced topics like partitioning which he didn't, though.

I would have expected more to be covered if considering this a Boot Camp Course.

To me a Boot Camp course covers almost everything you would need to know, if not it should be broken into beginner, intermediate and advanced type classes.

A well equipped and to the point instructor that i ever have but as the lecture is "A full SQL Boot Camp" i think some very important contents like Stored procedure are missed.

This course actually covers a bit more since it is a complete boot camp but really, all you need is the querying part.

Coming to the boot camp , Jose covered all the things and projected very nicely , the most important part was the examples were real life examples, that helped a lot .

I took both the Python Boot Camp and Python for Data Science Bootcamp courses from Jose last summer.

I have passes already 2 courses with Jose, 1-Python Boot Camp from Zero Hero 2-Python for Machine Learning and Data Science Boot Camp I am pretty satisfied with Jose method of teachings.

Thank you for making such a well rounded boot camp course which I wasn't sure existed until now!

If some one is looking for python his python boot camp is the best course too..

Step by Step instructions and the speed at which we move is excellent Good and well thought out boot camp for SQL It's a very thorough course.

Great for beginner into data science Content was clear and easy to follow Its very basic where as the name was "Complete SQL boot camp" thanks, everything was very understandable!

Took a while to install as couldn't produce dataset from "SELECT * FROM film", using pgAdmin3 and 9.5 on a Mac.

Had error with the SELECT * FROM film; part, where data wouldn't load It was great learning from this course.

When I try to write the basic command SELECT * FROM film; I get the message "Relation 'Film' does not exist.

This guy knows his stuff and does a fantastic job of explaining everything.

The coach knows his stuff super well.

He is cool, patient, and knows his stuff.

The plattform works great too Great, Jose really knows his stuff, and he really goes into detail to explain and demonstration functions etc I was able to get going with Postgres very quickly, which was the whole reason signed up for this class.

Well explained content and the instructor knows his stuff.

I had to refresh my knowledge in SQL in a short amount of time.

Many of the later lectures offer practical, day-to-day business tips in utilizing SQL Recommended for anyone who wants to gain a base understanding of SQL in a short amount of time.

You don't really become an expert after this course.

*** The tutor positions this course as the complete guide to SQL fundamentals in order to become an expert at this language and apply it for performing data analysis, but this description seems to be a bit exaggerated.

The course main page states: "Become an expert at SQL!".

I would have liked a little more review when we reached the JOIN examples and I think it was the second assessment test that just listed some of the answers and going through a couple of those in a little more detail as had been done with the first assessment would have been great as that's when things were getting more complex.

I really enjoyed the course but I am the second assessment test was a disappointment.

Would have given 5 stars if the course was a tad bit faster.

I would have given 5 stars for this reason alone - my lower rating is due to the confusion over versions and installation methods for Mac.
