Une importance de plus en plus grande est aujourd’hui accordée par les chercheurs, les praticiens et les décideurs à l’utilisation des résultats de recherche pour améliorer les interventions, la santé et le bien-être des populations. Cette tendance est particulièrement importante dans les domaines qui traitent d’enjeux sociaux tels que les interventions et les services de santé, sociaux, éducatifs et judiciaires. Ce mouvement se manifeste par l’apparition de nouvelles approches favorables à une utilisation accrue de la recherche : transfert de connaissances, prise de décision et pratiques fondées sur des données probantes, mobilisation des connaissances, application des connaissances, valorisation des connaissances, etc.

Les études sur le sujet montrent que le processus menant à l’utilisation des connaissances est si complexe que la science et la recherche sont encore trop peu considérées dans les milieux de pratique et de prise de décisions. Un consensus se dégage des écrits scientifiques montrant que les efforts déployés pour rendre disponibles les connaissances scientifiques représentent une condition nécessaire, mais non suffisante, à leur réelle utilisation dans la pratique. C’est autour de ces enjeux que ce cours a été conçu.

Cette série de cours gratuits et en ligne a été élaborée par l’Équipe de recherche RENARD en collaboration avec l’Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD) et grâce au soutien du Centre de pédagogie universitaire (CPU) de l’Université de Montréal.

What you'll learn

Le premier MOOC de la série est une introduction au transfert de connaissances. Il comporte huit modules. Vous pourrez vous familiariser avec les concepts de base liés à cette notion de transfert et identifier les facteurs qui favorisent ou entravent l’utilisation des connaissances. Les mécanismes les plus efficaces pour optimiser l’utilisation de la recherche vous seront présentés. Vous pourrez vous initier à plusieurs activités et outils de transfert de connaissances (infographie, note de politique, atelier délibératif, etc.). À la fin de ce premier MOOC, vous serez plus outillé(e)s pour planifier une démarche de transfert et en évaluer les retombées.
