case studies

This is a very good course for the Tableau beginners, as it covered all the basics concepts of tableau & packed with some business case studies.

Very good content.Request you to add some case studies which can help relating to the real time for those who are looking for a change form some other industry.

You have to create few more stories (Case Studies) in the course ,Student will get more useful insights about the concepts taught by you in course.

If there were more case studies that could help to visualize and determining the scope of each graph , i would have definitely given you 5 start.

It would be great if there were a few more "real-life" case studies from beginning to end.

Looking forward to the case studies - I find that with most other training I have taken for data analysis, the examples are all too basic, and sales related.

Very sufficient content from the very beginning to the end, and many case studies and hands-on examples along the way which allow students to really practice using Tableau.

I would prefer proper case studies, but I guess it is the limitation of the platform.

just felt the need for more practice exercises and the case studies of it.

I wish it had more more quizes and practice case studies.

Kirill uses real-world case studies to build exercise visualizations.

I thought the course was extremely well structured into logical tutorial sections and very practical as it used real world scenarios for case studies.

Kirill does a great job of teaching how Tableau works, how to think about variables in your dataset and great case studies on when you would use certain charts or techniques within Tableau.

Very neatly structured introductory course with relevant case studies.

machine learning

This is really well-crafted content, I am pursuing post-graduation in Data Science and Machine Learning from University of Chicago and this course has really helped me co-op with my studies and work.

krill is always nice I have done multiple courses on data science and machine learning.

I am learning data analytics and machine learning.

The course will definitely complement my skill sets in Machine Learning.

In Contrast to Machine learning course you and Hadelin did really good, this course I don't really get your point of all time.

I would love to use Tableau for most data science visualizations from now on - possibly excepting machine learning visualizations, since Tableau cannot train machine learning models AFAIK (although it can forecast).

Tableau 10 A-Z and Machine Learning (Part 1 & Part 2).

I am really very happy with this course and also enrolled for your course in machine learning.

All topics were clearly explained with detailed explanations on all features. Also, I have already enrolled with Advanced Tableau and Machine learning.

I hope you introduce a mega master class course of Tableau that gets into more advanced data mining and machine learning visualization and also using other data sources such as SPARK SQL and Hadoop etc.

It complements my technical background in machine learning.

I have already enrolled myself for the advanced Tableau course from Kirill and to his other courses on R and Machine Learning.

I have a fair idea of machine learning algorithms hence i got really excited when the instructor started explaining the K-Means clustering and regression techniques in a single dashboard.

I always learn a lot whether it is Machine Learning or Tableau.

knows his stuff

Kerrill really knows his stuff!

The instructor knows his stuff for sure.

The teacher is phenomenal and really knows his stuff.

The instructor definitely knows his stuff.

Kirill is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff and he makes the content easier to understand and makes sure you understand all concepts.

I liked the instructor, he knows his stuff and has great energy and wants you to learn!

Kirill certainly knows his stuff, but what makes this a truly great course is that he knows how to break his knowledge into very comprehensible chunks so that you , the learner, learn step-by-step in a very well planned out manner.

Friendly voice, steady pace of delivery and most important he clearly knows his stuff.

I think it's great course for both beginners and hardened tableau users, the professor delivers a structured and detailed lecture Great content, instructor is good, knows his stuff!

real world applications

Real world applications on how to make data come alive!

I love how he's always direct to the point including real world applications.

The course brings a lot of light into the use of Tableau by showing practical real world applications which you can follow along.

One thing that could be improved are more real world applications for what he explains.

I like how Kirill keeps the course to the point with the focus on real world applications of the data.

It has been easy to pick up and I am finally learning a great new tool that I can use in the real world applications.

Examples were very applicable and I felt after the course I had enough experience with Tableau to experiment with real world applications confidently.

I did not reach out to Kirill, so I can't speak to his responsiveness, but the information and skills you can learn in this class are great and have real world applications.

Defintely has real world applications.

power bi

The concepts clarified will be good for my career start in Tableau as I already have extensive experience in Business Intelligence Data Warehousing with Cognos as my base tool including Power BI, Spotfire, and Excel.

It Would be great if there is a lecture explaining the differences and also talk about the other visualization tools such as Power BI , Qilkview and compare them to what Tableau can do.

I am also a recent convert to Power BI, and the skillset is strongly overlapping, as well as being very popular in the IT field, where I work.

Since I have already worked with other reporting tools, such as SSRS and Power BI, sometimes the pace seemed to be a little slow, but that is my personal case.

Before starting this course i was big fan of Power BI and now I realized that how powerful is Tableau and on top the way this course is designed and taught that is amazing.

Since I am already used to Qlik and Power BI, you can add more topics in creating calculated measures using different functions.

I am primary user of Power BI and did this course to do my own evaluation of PBI vs. Tableau.

Also I am trying to compare the features of tableau 10 vs Power Bi (microsofts similar product).

Same as power BI course with same data ..Overall good I loved the course as it shows all the concepts of the tableau in a detailed manner!

I can tell already that I may have to change my opinion of tableau vs. power bi.

data science a-z

I was introduced to Tableau while going through course 'Data Science A-Z:Real Life data science" & earlier i was skeptical that the course work would overlap _ skimming through the first lesson it seems there will be much more value in this course.

Excellent I loved Tableau tool when I am going through Data Science A-Z course by Kirill.

I took your other course on Data Science A-Z and I follow your podcasts, great work!

Before starting this course I was afraid that it would be a bit repeating for me after completing the course "Data Science A-Z..." by Kirill but it was a totally new experience which I enjoyed very much.

Students coming from his Data Science A-Z course may find the first section to be more of a recap on the Tableau section from that course, but it quickly dives into much more complex work using this amazing visualization tool.

Please stick to 1 dataset I am taking this course after taking Kirill's Data Science A-Z Course.

I started with the Data Science A-Z series where Tableau is used for visualizations and data mining.

difference between

It is great source to learn Tableau from Beginning In this session i understood Clear difference between Joining and blending and when we need to use it in real time.

The last one on creating a calculated field in a blend was a little rushed, and the difference between blends and joins was not crystal clear.

thanks for specifying difference between Tableau and "Tableau Public" it is a Great Course!!!

However, the lecture about the difference between filtering and highlighting was one glaring deviation from that and was difficult enough to understand that I had to google it on my own.

It's those small details that make the difference between presenting an average dashboard/storyline and one that really stands out.

Excellent idea, things like this are the difference between good teachers and a great ones!

Importantly it explains the fundamental difference between different concepts used by tableau.

Through all his videos, Kirill: 1) successfully explain the difficult logic of Joining vs Blending tables 2) gave smart techniques on setting up the data relationships 3) explain the difference between filtering and highlighting I am sure that a month or two from now, I will be forgot half of the techniques.

I would have loved if it outlined the difference between tableau web, server, online and desktop and many other details.

Half a star is missing in the rating as the course should also tell us about the difference between Tableau and Tableau public, as it helps navigation through the software rather convenient.

real life scenarios

I am beginning to get a clearer view of the application in real life scenarios.

Content appears relative to real life scenarios breadth and depth of subject coverage, great exercises Absolutely!

The course was very detailed and hands on, I learned a lot and hope to be able to apply it to more real life scenarios.

It was very thorough and the instructor went in great detail with many of the examples and included real life scenarios which is always nice.

Lot of real life scenarios , funny content and very engaging instructor.
